I saw an error "This field cannot sync with Revenue Explorer"

If you tried to sync a lead, company, or opportunity field to to the Revenue Explorer

and see this error -- "This field cannot sync with Revenue Explorer"

The most common reason is because this field is already synced to Revenue Explorer. Check the Revenue Explorer Sync status of that field to check if it's enabled:
